About Me:
I am originally from west of France. I was born in Nantes by a beautiful afternoon from June 1961. My father after several turns of the world, decided to pose his suitcases on the edges of the Loire. I grew up in the middle of brothers, sisters, cousins, uncles and aunts: a great family! My elder brothers followed the way of the father: they engaged in the Royale and embarked around the world. I remember this blue sphere with which my mother of the end of the finger showed us their courses. Magic, mysterious words sounded with our ears: Diego Suarez, Hokkaido, Fiji islands, the Cap Verde, Papeete, les Marquises… and this iron suitcase brought back by their journeys! Magic moment that where our brothers authorized us to open it. It contained fabulous treasures come from different countries: colored dresses, Indians shawls, silk slings, loincloth, Asian dolls, Chinese vases… I found a means of leaving in my turn thanks to paper and the pencil. As soon as I could hold a pencil I knew that this instrument there would not leave me anymore. But when I was 20 years old, I left Nantes to go to work in Paris. I left aside pencils and colors. After 15 years of Parisian life, I then moved to Berry where I currently live today with my husband and my daughters.
I have always liked to draw and paint but didn’t take it up seriously until in 2004 I met a painter, Muriel Cayet who encouraged me to proceed in the artistic way.
It was a new and exciting road for me. Now I have been painting for about four years. I gradually developed my style and interests. I have exhibited my artwork in group and solo shows.

How would you describe your style of art?
I work primarily with the acrylic resin because I paint much in the moment. The work art seldom resembles according to the canvas I conceived in my head because the feelings and the emotions felt from day to day is very fluctuating. Why acrylic resin? Undoubtedly because I was born with it. It appeared in France in the years 1960. It is a contemporary painting, the fruit of a research on the binders and the pictorial matter most modern currently. Its time of exceptional drying is appropriate to me because I like to work by impulse, by feeling. What does not prevent me from working over again the work art still and still, until it really speaks to me. The acrylic resin gets a myriad of possibilities in the construction of work. One can as well obtain pastings giving of the effects of reliefs as a remarkable transparency by diluting the acrylic resin with water. One can thus have very beautiful glacis and while diluting still more, to obtain a canvas close to the aquarelle. I found in the acrylic resin a painting which corresponds well to my work. For me each canvas is writing and as for any scriptural improvisation, I need to pose my subject of continuation. Then, I work over again the canvas. That can last of the weeks, even of the months, as it can be finished in a few hours...
Describe your most recent work:
I am painting with colors without model. It comes. I like orange colors. I still look for my real palette (colors). For some months I try to mix of the pink in my orange tones to give them a particular color as with the « Ball of the young ladies »
