About Me:
I am an artist- paint, sculpt, digital art, installations. -Also organize and curate shows in New York and around the world. I am finishing a doctorate in Art&aArt Education at Columbia University with an interest in self-organized artist initiatives and theorizing non-institutional art. I teach for the school system here in New York . I live alone with my cat Momoko and Bootsy who lives next door but comes to visit. I just completed 8 years of deep psychotherapy

How would you describe your style of art?
I have an eclectic style. I love painting from life but have not been doing much of it. Most of my paintings have been spiritual self-revealing and symbolic in the last few years. I also do sculpture in metal steel fabric and wood. I organize and curate shows
Describe your most recent work:
Sculptures and installations shown at Harvard University in April and Detroit Museum of New Art in May. I curated the show that I was in, called Souped-up Pontiac, about the contrast between Chief Pontiac, an American Indian hero and the car- whose new car is called G8.
How do you decide on your subject matter?

Autonomous zones, Culture inside and Rooted

My impulse as a young artist was to create and mount exhibitions, since that is the area in art creation where the reality principle operates, where the forces of control, power and money exercise their will. Economic power acts as a censor and gatekeeper to prevent artistic innovation and experimentation, in my view.

I thank you frank what you had said to me here paint and colors and to draw has to mix I like your paintings and pics that you have... yes Maine and Quebec Canada is a nice place for it all there.. thanks for giving me a nice wonderful comment..
