I am a writer of book reviews, novels, non-fiction books, photographer, painter, a true Renaissance man (as I have been told. I live on a mountain top in Arizona on 42 acres of land with my wife, two dogs and 6 cats. We live in a log home.

How would you describe your style of art?
In the style of painting I do landscapes and mountains. In photography I use digital now and shoot whatever is a good subject.
Describe your most recent work:
Mostly writing lately, however, I take the camera out of the case periodically and shot a lot of shots of the things around me.
How do you decide on your subject matter?
What is beautiful and fulfilling and captures my eye at the time.

Dear Clark,
Thank you for a wonderful recitation of what I shall call "Yes, Susan, there IS life after Florida". It sounds like you ended up in a place that I can only dream about right now. I, too, would love to leave the Fort Lauderdale area where I've been stuck for some 30+ years. My goal right now is to move to North Carolina in a couple of years, but I must say Arizona is growing in its appeal! As someone who was born in Colorado, and lived in the foothills of Pikes Peak, I can well imagine how wonderful your environment is! I am so happy for you.
Color me green with envy. :)
