Aysegul's fare tale

Once upon a time, as the camels were tale tellers and the pires were still coiffures, exactly at those times, in a small village of Egeis, Aysegul was born. It was the 28th of August. She grew up between the wooden chairs of her fathers summer movie theater. In that theater she watched so many movies. As she started to talk, she also started to sing. In their back yard that is filled with scant of jasmine and woodbines her father played accordion and she sang songs. Guitars are played and she sang songs. She sang many many songs. In Izmir, her teachers told her lots of things about natural arts. And later on gave her the thing adults call diploma.

Aysegul, with her long black hair, hopes as many as her hairs, in her hands only her talent, went to fur fur away to a huge city, called Istanbul. She produced collections to fur fur countries in big big companies. But big big companies were not for her. She chose to work independently. Until today, she made so many pictures that she opened in total 15 receptions to demonstrate them. She shared her feelings. She feared from blackener. She liked August beetle. Because August beetle was the musician of the fare tales. She sang songs together with very precious musicians of the jazz country behind the Mountain Kaff. She joined very important concerts with them. She made pictures, draw them, sang songs, draw herself, wrote lyrics, made songs, sang songs. She was the August beetle. She produced only one singe album. Everybody she loved played for her. She sang songs like fare tale to people.

She sang about hope, paper boot, love, and shared her feelings. She thought all the time that she is the Aysegul in tales. She liked her family, friends, moon, cotton sugar, phoenix, yellow wosvos, swinging horse, stars up in the sky, rooster candy, Captain Swing, her hairless baby dull, chocolate, red bicycle, wind, sea horse, Zagor, swallow, white vespa, sea,her cat Surmeli, and herself a lot. She bend n front of Mother Nature with respect. She behaved unostentatious and unostentatious the plainly people more. She hugged fraud together with cheers.

If you are asking what se is doing now? …. She is sewing her long black hair appareled with diamonds that she has borrowed from the stars. She wants to make presents to the world from new songs and new pictures. She is planning to play to skip on the clouds. Even if her age is bi g, she still wants to be able to look from the depths of her eye as a child. And she wants to share her feelings furthermore.

Ideas of Aysegul Yesilnil

To be a witness of the age, day; moment one lives in, and to transport this in one's own expressive style to the masses is one of the primary duties of the artist. Yet, I believe that the cultural elements formed by those who lived on these lands before us, are a priceless inheritance. Folkloric art plays an important role in highlighting the traditions and customs which bridge the past to the present, in grasping the core of culture and bringing out original and contemporary creations.

How well rooted can societies with no past be in the future?

As for today; the "Sahmeran" (Basilisk) believed to bring prosperity to the home and protect against the evil eye (nazar) and illness, has lost its sovereign place in the bride's dowry. I think that the disappearance, one by one, of fables, beliefs, music, fairy tales, traditional motifs and symbols is cultural erosion itself: Numerous masters have passed through these lands. Many we have not even heard of: Yet the heroes they have created are still heroes. Even though their creators are no longer alive, they still exist and will continue to do so. Some are lucky; for their masterpieces have survived the time tunnel up to the present day. In spite of the siege of material values, I wanted to awaken these fairy tales, fables and traditions in the memory of lives built on pure love. I did not want to allow them to disappear.

I wanted shapes known and unknown to open their eyes to the world with my brush and canvas. I also wanted them to participate with their melodies in my paintings depicting jazz music, its instruments, night life and musicians. I want to present to you the accumulation I have filtered in my brain. In not allowing some values to slip through our hands, I wish to greet all the masters who created on these lands for centuries. In doing so I hope to leave behind a few paintings.

SACRED WIND / AYŞEGÜL YEŞİLNİL

SACRED WIND / AYŞEGÜL YEŞİLNİL

Nobody should be anybody’s.
We continue our life journey alone. Then, somebody comes and wishes yourself in you. Says be mine. Give me your life, your love, everything.
May your eyes only look at me? May your lips only smile at me? May your hands only caress me? Walk on my way. Be mine. Just mine. May your holder be me?

However, love, a real love does not mean to feel and make him/her feel like you are his/her holder. Making him/her feel the freedom is the real love. Nobody is anybody’s. It shouldn’t be.

Envy someone and do not trust in is the reflection of the self-distrust. An individual who respects himself/herself doesn’t hold this morbid feeling inside.

The main thing we should hold is our freedom and character. If we really have our freedom and “then” hands, eyes and hearts may choose to be together. That’s the real love which reaches the correct place. Love and care cannot be desired by force. If it does, then it can’t be named as love. If only it grows spontaneously we can call it love. If there’s no interest, the desire for love is a misery. That’s one of the biggest trap between relationships.
Give me you care. Give me your love. Be mine. Always mine. May I own you. Your life is mine. Walk on the lines I draw. You are mine.

“Nobody is anybody’s”

Actually all of us are alone. There’s not one more of us. We come to life alone. We gain many things earthly and spiritual. We are educated, learn, share, succeed, lose, enjoy or suffer, we multiply, we love and we are loved. Finally we leave here alone again.
Nobody owns anybody.
The person, who wishes us to experience this, cannot love us. They are the ones who love their egos.
Halil Cibran (Khalil Gibran) summarizes this in one sentence:

“Always be abreast but don’t come close to each other, because also the pillars that carry the temple are separated.”

The cage is not suitable for a butterfly.

And the only living thing which creates its captivity is the mankind unfortunately. It has also the power for annihilate this. And firstly he/she should believe in this courage and power of change. Person itself to turn into a snake bites its tail. It bites more as a result of the pain and then it has more pain. This continues during the life. And in the end he/she becomes a miserable situation. If somebody doesn’t respect himself/herself, he/she cannot respect to anybody. Discouragement and indecision makes him/her slower. He/she doesn’t see the life’s losing during this. An individual can be a part of solution in spite of being a part of the problem. And this is the thing which separates him/her from the rest of the people.

Especially in double relationships, people search for the people same with them. They thing that’s the eternal harmony. This also is a type of narcissism. However the surprises revitalize the life are hidden in the differences. And these differences feed the relationships. Anyway the harmony brings the power and high quality. Beauty occurs when feelings joins without forces and sanctions.

Just like the beauty in the legend about 2 animals which belong to the land and the air while living in one body. They do not own each other. Because they are already “one”. If a person is lucky like that then he/she has the biggest gift given from the life.
Because if you are able to be the wings of the strong and free lion, or if you’re able to rise with the eagle’s wings.
Then, you are the one who have the gift from the land and air.
Then, for the correct way, the only thing your wing’s need is the wind.
And then God is ready to give the Sacred Wind…

Dear Aysegul Yesilnil,
your works remaind me of the yoginis of hinduism, the female deities of awesome sacred power who are portrayed in composite human-animal forms whom can be invoked through sacred rituals of a mystic nature by chanting mantras. They all have the cosmic SRI YANTRA as their spiritual tantric apparatus.OM NAMA SIVAYA...
